Thank you for arranging the Honor Flight in October for the veterans. I am ninety two years old and was one of the WWII veterans that was privileged to make that first flight...The ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was very impressive and humbling. I hope that as many veterans as are able to make it will take advantage of your offer to take them there. It was an unforgettable experience.

Honor Flight - Top of Virginia was such a very special day. The planning and care for each and every veteran was outstanding. How very blessed I was to be part of such a lovely, lovely day.

What a great day we veterans enjoyed on the Honor Flight from the Winchester region to visit military memorials in Washington DC on October 15, 2016...The crowded memorial sites resulted in a number of the veterans noting that the frustration of traffic and parking difficulties would have prevented them from visiting these sites on their own. Although the crowd at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was literally packed, we were moved to the front to witness the ceremony and watch several of our very own present a wreath in honor of all veterans...I believe all on this trip agreed that this was a highlight of the year and hoped the activity could be continued and enjoyed by many other veterans and volunteer companions. For all who were involved and for those who made the trip financially possible, many thanks.
